In January 2011 Brisbane suffered one of the worst natural disasters in its history with floods wiping out a vast majority of the city. The good news is that the local governments have recently declared Queensland Open For Business, and in particular the surrounding Brisbane area and attractions such as Southbank on their way to getting restored to their former beauty.
